Dr. Nguyen retired effective 12/19/2024. LaserCare Eye Center is happy to see her former patients. We are also her custodian of medical records. Kristine Hien Nguyen-Ngo, M.D. is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist (Eye Surgeon and Physician). She obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of California at Davis. This was followed by Graduate school in the Department of Physiology at the University of California at Davis. She then obtained her medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Following this, she completed an Internal Medicine Internship at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas and an Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Nguyen-Ngo has been in Ophthalmology private practice since 1991. She has been affiliated with LaserCare Eye Center since 2006. She provides a wide range of eye care services including Cataract surgery, Laser treatments for Glaucoma and Diabetes, Eyelid surgery, Comprehensive eye exams, and Contact lenses/Glasses exams. She is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is on the medical staff of Irving-Coppell Surgical Hospital, Baylor Health Center at Irving-Coppell, RHD Medical Center, Baylor Medical Center at Irving and other hospitals in the area. She lives in Dallas with her husband and two sons. In her spare time, she loves to travel and read.
